Hey! It’s Celia from Charlie’s Party Patrol
Here are a few of my favorite Party Patrol moments from this summer…
We made a stop at the Sun Prairie Athletic Club and had some nice cold freezie pops for everyone at the pool; little did we know that all the kids would start jumping in the pool with the freezie pops in their mouths. All of a sudden we hear the lifeguards blowing their whistles and telling all the kids to stay out of the water with the freezie pops! Ooooops
While patrolling out at Fireman’s Park in Cottage Grove, we played the Trivia Question game with many people. One kid that really sticks out in my head was really creative while picking his prize. We named off all the really cool prizes for him to choose from…Mallards tickets, free McDonalds burgers, Bucky Books, etc….but he picked the 50 dollar gift certificate to a day spa. When his mom asked why on earth he picked a prize that was usually meant for a girl, he said that he could sell it to all the girls at school and make some money!
At the Middleton Fire Station, the Charlie Horse was working really hard with all the little kids surrounding him to get pictures. All of a sudden, one boy wanted to show how smart he was and prove to all the other kids what Charlie really was, he started yelling “you’re not a real horse” and continued on to taking off Charlie’s horse head to show everyone he was right.
